The staff is awesome oh, very attentive, and helpful! It was the first time I was having to get insurance for a trailer house which I have never done before. And the employees at this company made it very easy. Plus the employees made me feel like my being there was appreciated and my business was appreciated. I would recommend this company to anyone for property insurance needs.

Marla has worked so hard to keep me insured even though I had 2 non-weather related water damage claims within 2 years. Citizens tried to cancel me twice but she’s kept my home insured through all the adversity. She’s the best! Definitely 5 stars!

If you are looking for new insurance and would appreciate an agent that will give you that “old fashioned” one on one customer service experience that you use to get years ago when you could only buy insurance thru an agent, then this is the place you want!!!
After finding out that we were paying double the price for our homeowners as our neighbors were (for basically the same house) I called the agency we have had for 10 years and told them who my neighbors had and what they were paying and could they find us a better price…I was told the company our neighbors had were not writing new policies at the time…but was not offered any better rate from the company we were with for 10 years:(
I started shopping for a better price myself and called Charlas Hicks as per a friends recommendation that has been using them for years on multiple properties and for auto as well.
BEST thing I ever did…from the minute Marla answered the phone with her smiling voice and wealth of knowledge, I knew I was “in good hands”!
She managed to get us better coverage at almost half the cost!!! She answered all my silly questions, endured numerous phone calls, referred us to another wonderful company (Statewide Inspections) for the 4 point we needed and was always prompt with all follow ups while working on finding us a lower quote for our 1947 home! I told her even if she couldn’t find a better price we were switching just because of their AMAZING customer service and knowledgable staff!!!
They will be getting our auto insurance as soon as its time for renewal too:)

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We had our flood insurance canceled and needed to find another agent, so a neighbor recommended this company. We have been working closely with Cindy Hernandez and she has gone way above and beyond and are so happy with her courteous nature and attention to detail. She was able to provide quotes for other providers, and reviewed our current policy and told us how we were not actually properly covering what needed to be covered for our personal property. Our previous provider barely responded to our calls. Cindy put our interests ahead of earning a profit and has helped with the elevation certificate, paperwork, and making sure that the policy is renewed in a timely fashion. She’s super responsive via both phone and email, able to answer any questions and is a true pleasure to deal with. Thank you.
